From August 1 to 4, 2024, the city of Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, became the epicenter of international amateur boxing by hosting the prestigious International “Verde y Oro” Tournament. The event, held at the Instituto de Pensiones del Estado de Jalisco (Ipejal), brought together 220 boxers from various parts of the world, establishing itself as a crucial platform for the development of emerging talents in this sport.
