Mexican Julio César Martínez will make the third defense of his World Boxing Council flyweight title, Saturday night, at the Alcalde Arena in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, against his compatriot Joel Córdova, ranked number 15 in the WBC.
It’s presented by Matchroom Boxing, Canelo Promotions, and Clase y Talento.
The previous bout of Julio César Martínez took place on October 23, when he defeated Moisés Calleros by technical knockout in the second round. Cordova, for his part, is coming off defeating Otoniel Ortiz by first round knockout in January.
This Friday the official weigh-in of the card took place. Martinez posted a weight of 112 pounds, while Córdova reported a weight of 111.8 pounds.
The card will be broadcast worldwide on DAZN.
