Our ring official Nathan Palmer, shared with us a photo of his ten year old daughter Madelyn, proudly wearing the official WBC Champion Jersey, on her way to School Sports Day.
No WBC champion is a pushover, but many love pullovers. Nathan, originally from Indiana, is a prominent ring official for the World Boxing Council, and has had important performances in title fights: Ilunga Junior Makabu vs. Thabiso Mchunu, Jermall Charlo vs. Juan Macias Montiel, Kenshiro Teraji vs. Randy Petalcorin, Gary Russell Jr. vs. Joseph Diaz, Julio Ceja vs. Hugo Ruiz, among others.
Nathan proudly said: “Today was sports Day at School. So Madelyn chose this outfit, in part because she really is a proudly self proclaimed Daddy`s Girl, and has always taken an interest in the WBC, through my involvement. She particularly likes the WBC Female Representation, as she calls it proof that girls can do anything they set their minds to!”
We thank Nathan for sharing such a wonderful part of his life with us and congratulate him on his beautiful family.
