This Sunday at the Intersaal Köln in Cologne, Germany, Frenchman Jorick Luisetto (12-4-0, 3 Ko’s) won the World Boxing Council’s Mediterranean welterweight title, defeating German Ilhami Aydemir (20-2-0, 13 Ko’s).
The fight was very keenly contested from the beginning, but from by the seventh round, Luisetto was boxing better, to convince the judges that he deserved the victory by majority decision.
The Referee of the fight was Juergen Langos, the jJudges were Brahim Ait Aadi, Sergio Silvi and Alexander Walter. The Supervisor was the Vice President of the WBC, Houcine Houichi.
