Julio César Chávez, the absolute best boxer in the history of Mexico and one of the greatest the world over, is set to clock in, with his ticket from the National Lottery for Public Assistance in Mexico in July/Julio.
World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaimán, says that the Lottery ticket will be part of the former champion’s 58th bumper birthday celebrations, which will be on July 12.
“If everything looks good, it`ll be for July, commemorating Julio Cesar Chávez’s birthday. He is one of the greatest Mexicans in history,” said Mauricio.
Julio Cesar Chávez punched his ticket, sweeping through an utterly brilliant almost 25-year professional career, beginning in 1980 and ending in 2005. With his own two hands he built through demolition to accomplish a monumental master blaster record of 107 wins (85 via knockout), six losses and two draws. El Gran Campion Mexicano won world titles in three different divisions: super featherweight, lightweight and superlight. Julio personifies power, persistence and the sheer will to win, right up to the final bell.
