In a great fight held at the PTA Saba Saba in Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania, the local fighter Fadhili Majiha defeated the South African Bongani Mahlangu, winning the African super bantamweight title endorsed by the World Boxing Council.
From the beginning Majiha controlled the actions in the ring even though Mahlangu never gave up and tried to seek victory by KO.
The Judges’ three cards awarded the well-deserved victory to Fadhili Majiha, who became the first WBC Africa super bantamweight champion.
