Croatian Alen Babic fights Polish Adam Balski for the vacant Bridger Silver title of the World Boxing Council and light heavyweights Joshua Buatsi and Craig Richards clash, while world champion Chantelle Cameron defends her laurels, all at the O2 Arena in London, Saturday night, in a live broadcast on DAZN.
Babic is coming off knocking out France’s David Spilmont on the undercard of Joseph Parker’s rematch with Derek Chisora in December, raising his record to ten knockouts in ten fights since he turned pro in July 2019.
Adam Balski (10-1-0, 9 Ko`s) comes from defeating Vadym Novopashyn on December 17, by unanimous decision.
Both fighters made it through the weigh-ins this Friday and no hitch. Alen Babic clocked in at 208.6 pounds, while Adam Balski weighed 210 pounds.
The WBC recently created the Bridger division, which goes from the upper limit of the Cruiserweight division 90 kilos/200 pounds to 101 kilos/224 pounds.
