Fights for Peace: WBC Amateur event unites communities in Israel

In a remarkable display of unity and athleticism, the WBC Amateur event held in Isfiyah, Israel on April 26th proved to be a resounding success. Organized by Tony Milch, the event brought together participants from diverse backgrounds, including both Arab and Jewish communities.

“The event was a great success. We had all faith competing in unity together. Supporting our fight for peace message,” expressed Tony Milch, the main organizer of the event.

Coaches from across Israel, representing different Arab and Jewish villages and towns, gathered to witness an unforgettable day of boxing. Both young participants and seasoned boxers alike enjoyed the matches, with special recognition given to Adham Kayouf, who was awarded the prestigious WBC Belt after an outstanding performance.

Tony Milch expressed gratitude to the WBC members for their unwavering support of the mission of peace and unity through boxing, emphasizing the strength found in solidarity. He also gave a very special thanks to the Adham Kayouf family, Faraj, and the Council of Isfiya.

In a heartwarming display of camaraderie, individuals from Muslim, Druze, Jewish, and Christian communities sat together in the crowd, cheering on the competitors and reveling in the spirit of harmony that permeated the event.
