Remembering our dear Avel
Our dear friend and distinguished member of the World Boxing Council Avel González passed away on August 16th, leaving a deep void and sadness in our hearts.
Don Avel served as WBC Treasurer, always with honesty and passion for our sport.
We will always remember Avel as a loyal friend and a man dedicated to his work, but we will remember him even more as a wonderful and caring human being.
The World Boxing Council opens this space with the intention and commitment of remembering, honoring and preserving the legacy of our Dear Avel.

Nuestro querido amigo y distinguido miembro del Consejo Mundial de Boxeo Avel González falleció el 16 de agosto, dejando un profundo vacío y tristeza en nuestros corazones.
Don Avel se desempeñó como Tesorero del Consejo Mundial de Boxeo, con honestidad, cariño y pasión por nuestro deporte.
Siempre recordaremos a Avel como un amigo leal y un hombre dedicado a su trabajo, pero lo recordaremos aún más como un ser humano maravilloso y solidario.
El Consejo Mundial de Boxeo abre este espacio con la intención y compromiso de recordar, honrar y preservar el legado de nuestro Querido Avel.

Goodbye Abel. You were a good autumn, kind wonderful person. You were always ready to help anyone in any matter. you were a real gentleman. We will never forget you, God rest your soul!
