The WBC Mercosur 3 Rumbo a México tournament was held with 52 dates registered all in Boxrec, Sunday to Sunday, during a year in a tournament that will go down in history as the longest tournament in Uruguay.
There are already 3 editions of this famous tournament that started in 2015 with Mercosur 1; The tournament has been such a success that the 4th edition is currently underway. The winners of this tournament obtain prestige in Uruguay and most importantly, the opportunity to travel to Mexico to train with great champions and face the best amateur fighters in the region in a special tournament.
The six youngsters who won the Mercosur 3 Rumbo a México Tournament arrived in Mexico more than a month ago and since then they have been training hard, learning about Mexican culture and, above all, making their mark.
On Saturday March 11, the Uruguayan delegation traveled to the south of Mexico City, to face successful Mexican amateur fighters achieving important victories and before returning to their country, they will fight once more.
