Yesenia Gómez on her travels

Light flyweight champion of the World Boxing Council Yesenia Gómez, will face the WBC Silver light fly champion Kim Clavel, on December 17 at the Bell Center in Montreal.

Clavel (14-0, 2 KOs) will try to take the title from Yesenia (19-5-3, 6 KOs), who has held it since May 2018 and this will be the fifth defense of the title and the first time she has fought outside of Mexico.

This fight will be part of the undercard where Artur Beterbiev (16-0, 16 K.-O.) will defend his WBC light heavyweight crown, against American Marcus Browne (24-1, 16 K.- O.), while that Marie-Eve Dicaire (17-1) will face Cynthia Lozano (9-0, 7 K.-O.)..
