Yes, Yes…Yesenia year!

Gritty WBC female flyweight champion, Yesenia Gomez stresses that Japan`s  Erika Hanawa will be another stepping stone, paving the road to ever great glory,  as she won’t allow anyone to snatch away HER title!

Trained  by meticulous Coach Rubén Lira, Yesenia who attended the WBC Weekly Presser,   predicted that this fight will be even better than the one  she had against Esmeralda Moreno to conquer the Green and Gold Belt.

“I have grown a lot not only as boxer, but also as a person. I know I have a great responsibility as the owner of this championship, but when I won, I promised that I would defend it with pride and honor, always giving of my absolute best and that`s  exactly what will happen on February 16th.”

Her promoter Pepe Gómez, was linked by telephone and spoke about this great clash that he himself described  as a demanding fight for Yesenia, due to  the well known power of  Japanese fighters, saying:
