World Boxing Council light flyweight champion Masamichi Yabuki (13-3, 12 KOs), 29, will face former champion Kenshiro Teraji (18-1, 10 KOs), 30, in Kyoto, Japan on next March 19.
On September 22 in Kyoto, Japan, Teraji was dethroned via a tenth-round TKO by Yabuki, failing in his ninth defence of the WBC light flyweight title, and losing his undefeated career in professional boxing.
Yabuki is determined to leave no doubt that he is the best fighter in the division, so he is putting a lot into his training camp for this important fight.
“I have had sparring sessions with great rivals. I will arrive in excellent condition for this rematch. I feel like I’m the title challenger. I am very motivated to show who is the best,” commented Yabuki.
