Memorial Service for Alberto Reyes<\/strong><\/p>\n

Family and Friends of the great Alberto Reyes, have held a Memorial Service to honor his memory and magnificent contribution to the development of Boxing, at the Parroquia de San Cayetano. Capilla de Resureccion, in Colonia Linda Vista, Mexico City.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Service was conducted by Padre Rogelio Lazaro Rodriguez who gave a sermon recalling the conversion of St Paul and his bravery as well as dedication of the Disciples, to a packed Congregation.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Don Alberto who was sporting visionary, will always be remembered for the excellence and dedication of his work, developing the puncher`s boxing glove plus other boxing equipment and helping the WBC to start categorizing a standard of gloves to be used in championship fights. But also for the duration gloves should be used in sparring sessions.\u00a0 The paramount aim, was is and will forever be the safety of boxers.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Alberto \u00a0was also involved in many charity and worldwide community projects, especially WBC\u00a0Cares.\u00a0 Cleto Reyes donated huge amounts of equipment to help those in need, especially youngsters. Alberto always had time to share his expertise, help, advise\u00a0and volunteer.\u00a0 This was what especially characterized\u00a0Alberto\u00a0Reyes.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Alberto Reyes was a superb craftsman and an astute businessman. But even more than that, \u00a0he was wonderful, constant, attentive and loyal friend.\u00a0 How his Family and his extended WBC Family miss him!\u00a0 \u00a0But we share memories\u00a0of a great man who\u00a0has\u00a0left a lasting legacy for the entire World\u00a0of Boxing.<\/p>\n
