Pretty marvelous! Bonita S\u00e1nchez crowned WBC Silver champion<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Gabriela S\u00e1nchez Saavedra, known as “Bonita” S\u00e1nchez, became the World Boxing Council Silver flyweight champion this Friday, after defeating \u00c1ngela “Chiquita” Nolasco in Mexico City.<\/p>\n

In the 10-round fight, “Bonita” dominated a highly contested match, and the Judges awarded her the decision, with scores 96-94, 96-94 and 95-95.<\/p>\n

The fight took place in the Villa Flamingos room, south of Mexico City.<\/p>\n

For “Bonita\u201d it was pretty important, as a stepping stone to contest the WBC Green and Gold Championship.<\/p>\n
