The World Boxing Council invites the boxing family to the Panel \u201cWHAT DOES BOXING OWE ITS\u00a0CHAMPIONS?\u201d A discussion moderated by sport and ethnic studies scholar\u00a0Rudy Mondrag\u00f3n<\/b>\u00a0with California State Athletic Commission executive director\u00a0Andy Foster<\/b>, former middleweight champ\u00a0Sergio \u201cthe Latin Snake\u201d Mora<\/b>, and\u00a0Kali \u201cKO\u201d Mequinonoag Reis<\/b>\u00a0 professional boxer and actress.<\/p>\n

The Panel will reflect on boxing\u2019s future\u2014as an athletic endeavor, as a business, and as a cultural force\u2014in California and beyond. A reception with food and drink will follow the conversation.<\/p>\n
