Ignacio Beristain receives WBC World Champion Towel<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The WBC presents a special recognition to every trainer who crowns a WBC champion.<\/p>\n

This special recognition to the trainers of champions is one of a kind, inspired by the traditional towel used at all times by these men who, behind the lights of the reflectors, print all their passion and dedication on their pupils.<\/p>\n

“Don Nacho is a legend, he is history. A very important boxing person for Mexico with great international significance. A controversial character, but what legendary figure isn’t?…Don Nacho has given boxing so much for decades and this is a small way to recognize his legacy and hard work” commented Mauricio Sulaiman, President of the WBC.<\/p>\n

True to his humble style, Don Ignacio Beristain thanked all the press, the WBC for this recognition and commented that he is still active with many projects and multiple prospects to crown.<\/p>\n
