1970.- The Thai Chartchai Chionoi defended his WBC flyweight title by defeating the Mexican Efr\u00e9n \u201cAlacr\u00e1n\u201d Torres, at the National Stadium Gymnasium, Bangkok
\n1970.- The American Fred Little defended his WBC super welterweight title by defeating the German Gerhardy Piaskow by decision at the Sportpalast in Schoeneberg, Germany.
\n1976.- The British John Stracey knocked out Hedgemon Lewis in 10 rounds in London, defending his WBC welterweight title.
\n1982.- In Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, the Colombian Prudencio Cardona knocked out the Mexican Antonio Avelar in the first round, winning the WBC flyweight title.
\n1987.- The Mexican Gilberto Rom\u00e1n defeated the Filipino Frank Cede\u00f1o in the Plaza de Toros Calafia in Mexicali. In this fight the WBC super flyweight title was at stake.
\n1992.- Frenchman Thierry Jacob won the WBC super bantamweight title by defeating Mexican Daniel Zaragoza by decision in Calais, France.
\n1993.- The Russian Yuri Arbachakov knocked out the Thai Muangchai Kittikasem in the ninth round at the Lop Buri Community Park in Bangkok, Thailand. In this fight the WBC flyweight title was at stake.
\n2021.- The Canadian Artur Beterbiev knocked out the German Adam Deines in 10 rounds, at the Khodynka Ice Palace in Moscow. With this victory Beterbiev defended his WBC semi-heavyweight title.<\/p>\n
