The Pride of the East End<\/strong><\/h2>\n

West Ham Amateur Boxing Club sometimes known as West Ham Boys club is based in the East End of London.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the spiritual home of modern boxing in London and England. It is famous among boxing fans for producing Champions.<\/p>\n

Repton ABC is West Ham ABC’s most famous rival Repton\u00a0 has produced more boxing Champions than any other gym in the UK. West Ham has still produced many Champions.<\/p>\n

West Ham ABC has struggled since Covid and some of the Equipment was not fit for purpose, so we donated. They are an important institution for the local community.<\/p>\n

We gave the inaugural award grant Alberto Reyes Award for Excellence to the club for all their work and efforts in the community and this year was their 100 anniversary the club formed in 1922.<\/p>\n

300 over national champions in the amateurs<\/p>\n

First Champion in 1947<\/p>\n

7 Junior Champions this year alone<\/p>\n

Some of the people who have past through the club who are famous and of note off top of my head there are many more<\/p>\n

Jimmy Batten British Champ who fought Roberto Duran<\/p>\n

Billy Walker popular Heavyweight<\/p>\n

Jimmy Tibbs Famous boxing trainer produced many many Champions.<\/p>\n
