Kenshiro Teraji and Hiroto Kyoguchi weigh in<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The World Boxing Council Light Flyweight Champion, Japanese Kenshiro Teraji, will face the WBA Champion, his compatriot Hiroto Kyoguchi, in a unification fight this Tuesday at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Amazing Boy\u201d Teraji (19-1, 11 KO) is a 30-year-old fighter from Kyoto who has been fighting professionally for eight years. In May 2017 he won the WBC world title. He defended the crown eight times until a tenth-round knockout loss to Masamichi Yabuki in September of last year that left everyone shocked. However, Teraji got his revenge in less than six months with a third-round knockout of Yabuki to regain the title from him.
\nFor his part, Kyoguchi (16-0, 11 KOs) is a two-weight champion who held the IBF strawweight leadership until he vacated that belt to move up to light flyweight. On New Year’s Eve 2018, he won the WBA light flyweight crown against Hekkie Budler and has since made 4 defenses.<\/p>\n

The fight is organized by legendary promoter Akihiko Honda’s Teiken Promotions and will be broadcasted on ESPN.
\nThis Monday the official weigh in. Hiroto Kyoguchi registered 107.75 pounds, while Kenshiro Teraji gave 107.25 pounds.<\/p>\n
