Girls Box Workshop<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Girls Box workshop was held at Wisdom Boxing Gym in Accra Ghana, attracting 25 boxers, 7 clubs and 15 coaches.<\/p>\n

The event featured a public speaking practice session where the boxers were taken through a confidence building exercise. The boxers were tasked to write their vision and the reason why they are learning boxing on a chart. This session was Led by Lilian and Laura<\/p>\n

This year’s tournament is to create awareness on breast cancer and teenage pregnancy and as such we educated participants \u00a0on the causes, challenges and prevention, to help prepare the ladies for their messages on #fightday, by Sarah ( WBC CARES Africa Chapter and Coach Asare( Wisdom Gym).<\/p>\n

A brief history of female boxing and female champions was introduced to the ladies, coaches and female boxers concerning the need to be disciplined with training and how they can make impacts in their communities through boxing, by Sarah<\/p>\n

Finally, an alternative work out session was \u00a0held to teach the ladies how to maintain their strength by Torado Bruce ( KickBoxing Fitness Center )<\/p>\n

Thank you to all the stakeholders, clubs, coaches, boxers and the audience for making it a success.<\/p>\n
