Prograis makes you stronger<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The WBC has ruled that Regis Prograis face Jos\u00e9 Zepeda will fight for the vacant 140-pound crown, after Jos\u00e9 Carlos Ram\u00edrez withdrew from the bout.<\/p>\n<p>Prograis was the WBA champion in 2019, but says that losing his crown to Josh Taylor, and the subsequent nearly three-year long wait to secure another world title, has made him all the stronger.<br \/>\nIn an interview with Probellum.com, Prograis commented:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am ecstatic. I have waited for this opportunity for a long time. When I was world champion, and I lost my belt, it was like I fell to the bottom of the well, and I just worked my way up and out.<br \/>\n\u201cAnd now I am fighting again for the Green and Gold Title. I want to be known as the best in my division. For me, it&#8217;s about getting back to the same place that I feel I deserve and it`s an opportunity to do it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Zepeda, who has a record of 35-2, has the respect of Prograis, but assures that he is relishing the supreme level of this fight.<br \/>\n\u201cWe both have tremendous power in each hand. Zepeda has good knockouts on his record, and I&#8217;ve been knocking people out too. So I have to be careful with him and his power. But I have supreme confidence in myself.
