In interim champion Jessica ‘Magnifica’ Gonz\u00e1lez’s camp there is confidence in returning home as the only World Boxing Council bantamweight champion, when she fights next Friday, June 17 in Torre\u00f3n, Coahuila, Mexico; her where she will face the absolute champion, the local Yuliahn ‘Cobrita’ Luna.<\/p>\n

The card is a production of Promociones del Pueblo, in association with Canc\u00fan Boxing, Boxing Time and BXSTRS Promotions; and will be broadcast on ESPN.<\/p>\n

The champion from \u00c1lvaro Obreg\u00f3n in Mexico City assured that she knows the formula to beat Luna, since they already had a confrontation 8 years ago, and Gonz\u00e1lez won by points; “I’ve already beaten her once and now I’m going to do it in front of her people, we’ve both improved since then, but I’m going to beat her again and I’ll be the only champion.”<\/p>\n

“In these years we have learned a lot and improved, she won two world championships and I have faced the best in the world in the division; and in my mind a defeat against a rival I have already defeated does not cross,” she said.<\/p>\n

The international contest, she will have in the co-main event the undefeated knockout David ‘General’ Cu\u00e9llar facing the tough Nicaraguan Yader ‘Chocolate’ Cardoza..<\/p>\n
