He won by disqualification in 12 rounds of a fight scheduled for 15. The Mexican contender was, Valent\u00edn \u201cDuende\u201d Mart\u00ednez. The bout took place at the San Siro Stadium of Milan. The third man in the ring was Raymond Baldeyrou.
