{"id":68574,"date":"2022-03-14T14:32:28","date_gmt":"2022-03-14T20:32:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wbcboxing.com\/ebu-y-bbbofc-su-unen-al-llamado-de-paz-y-toman-accion\/"},"modified":"2022-03-14T15:05:35","modified_gmt":"2022-03-14T21:05:35","slug":"ebu-and-bbb-of-c-united-call-for-peace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wbcboxing.com\/en\/ebu-and-bbb-of-c-united-call-for-peace\/","title":{"rendered":"EBU and BBB of C united call for peace in Ukraine"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">EBU and BBB of C united call for peace in Ukraine<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The European Boxing Union (EBU) and the British Boxing Board of Control (BBB of C) join the urgent call for peace leading to a ceasefire and the end of war in Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">They`ve announced that they won`t \u00a0certify any championships involving boxers from Russia and Belarus until further notice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Likewise, the BBB of C announced through a statement that it will not allow boxers registered by the Russian Boxing Federation or the Belarusian Federation of Professional Boxing to compete in the United Kingdom under the jurisdiction of BBB of C, until the war ends.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Both federations have taken a clear stance in rejecting any form of war and ask the leaders to end this now. \u00a0Innocent \u00a0people are losing their lives. There is a bitter desolation of \u00a0pain and hopelessness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">The urge and the stress is for s resolution to \u00a0this conflict.
