What goes a pound comes around, with a hiccup at this Friday\u2019s official weigh-in of the fight between WBC flyweight champion Julio C\u00e9sar Mart\u00ednez, and the former champion, Rom\u00e1n ‘Chocolatito’ Gonz\u00e1lez.<\/p>\n

They fight this Saturday night at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, in San Diego, California.
\nMart\u00ednez (18-1 14 KOs) will face a great former champion \u201cChocolatito\u201d (50-3 41 KOs), replacing Juan Francisco Estrada, who is not in a position to fight after getting sick with Covid-19.<\/p>\n

Both fighters stepped on to the scale. Chocolatito registered 114.7 pounds, but Mart\u00ednez was 116.4 pounds. According to the rules of the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC), Mart\u00ednez will receive a fine for failing to reach the agreed weight of 115 pounds.<\/p>\n

The fight, which is promoted by Matchroom Boxing, will be televised on DAZN.<\/p>\n
