Leo Santa Cruz defeats Carbajal in a great fight<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Former Mexican world champion Leo Santa Cruz defeated Keenan Carbajal by unanimous decision in ten rounds this Saturday at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.<\/span><\/p>\n

The fight was totally dominated by Santa Cruz (38-2-1, 19 KOs), who suffered some cuts from accidental headbutts.<\/span><\/p>\n

Leo dominated the action and hurt Carbajal (23-3-1, 15 KOs) multiple times with body shots, winning every round on all three judges’ scorecards (100-90).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>This fight was part of the initiative promoted by the World Boxing Council with BoxVal (Boxing with Values) and Scholas Ocurrentes, a non-religious foundation of Pope Francis, which promotes values \u200b\u200bof unity and world peace among young people.<\/span><\/p>\n
