Support received in Argentina from the Jos\u00e9 Sulaim\u00e1n Fund<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Former South American champion Angel \u201cRayo\u201d Ruiz D\u00edaz, together with his wife Daniela Sosa, received the support of the Jos\u00e9 Sulaim\u00e1n Fund, at his home in Jos\u00e9 Le\u00f3n Suarez, province of Buenos Aires.<\/p>\n

“We are together champion, and together we have our hands raised aloft!” says the letter that President Mauricio Sulaim\u00e1n sent to the Argentine boxer. Said letter was hand-delivered along with the financial aid that the WBC grants through the Jos\u00e9 Sulaiman Fund.<\/p>\n

This year, the first aid destined for Argentina was for \u00c1ngel Ruiz, who is working hard and bravely on his recovery from the emergency surgery that he had to face, the product of a subdural hematoma, after his last fight in the middle of last year.
\nIn his house, the champion and his family greeted the International Secretary of the WBC, Marcos Arienti, who had presented the case to the Evaluation Committee.<\/p>\n

Ruiz D\u00edaz also received the “Medal as a Hero of Humanity” that the organization sent him in recognition of his daily ongoing battle.
\n\u201cYour case is an inspiration to the whole world. That is why we want to grant you the distinction that the WBC has prepared for warriors like you,\u201d explains Mauricio Sulaim\u00e1n in his letter.
\nWith this support, he continues the list of boxers who receive the support of the WBC in difficult and challenging times.<\/p>\n
