Donaire and Gaballo- the fillip of Filipino pride<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Bantamweight champion of the World Boxing Council, Filipino Nonito Donaire, will defend his title, against his compatriot, Reymart Gaballo, in the main fight this Saturday, December 11, at the “Dignity Health Sports Park” , of Carson, California.<\/p>\n

Nonito Donaire (41-6, 27 KOs), 38, regained his WBC world championship after defeating Frenchman Nordine Oubaali by knockout in the fourth round, almost nine years since holding that same belt.
\nDonaire came to the duel with Oubaali after losing, by unanimous decision in twelve rounds, to the champion, Naoya Inoue, in what was a great fight in 2019.<\/p>\n

Reymart Gaballo (24-0, 20 KOs), 25, interim division champion, comes into this bout after defeating former Puerto Rican world champion Emmanuel Rodr\u00edguez by split decision in December of last year.
\nThe card, which is promoted by the Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) series, will be televised on Showtime.<\/p>\n
