This was at the WBC\u2019s 59th Convention in Mexico City.<\/div>\n

Bearded Floyd never bristled. Instead charm and a smile as he said: \u201cI will always support boxing and stand up for the fighters. Thank you for keeping our sport alive. I thank the WBC. I became champion twenty four years ago, defeating Genaro Hernandez, God Bless and Rest In Peace.<\/div>\n
