On October 1 at the Mesquite Rodeo in Texas, the second round of the tournament “The Big Belt Championship,” which is presented by the promoter The Boxing Showcase with the endorsement of the World Boxing Council.<\/span><\/p>\n

In what will be the program’s stellar match, an out-of-tournament fight, scheduled to 6 rounds at 160 pounds, with American Mark \u201cG\u00fcero\u201d V\u00e1zquez facing experienced Mexican Ulises \u201cXochimilca\u201d Jim\u00e9nez.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a 4-round match within the tournament in the 147-pound division featuring Jake \u201cSnake\u201d Ysasi against Jokorean Swanson.<\/span><\/p>\n

In another interesting match within the tournament at 118 pounds, Fernando \u201cKid\u201d V\u00e1zquez will make his professional debut.<\/span><\/p>\n

In fights within the tournament and scheduled to 4 rounds, Texan Dominique \u201cDynamite\u201d Griffin (4-0-1, 2 KO) will fight with Mexican Mois\u00e9s Sixto G\u00f3mez (2-0-1, 2 KO) in 118 pounds; Keven \u201cBaby Boy\u201d Soto (1-0) versus Orlando Collins (0-4) at 140 pounds; Refugio \u201cCuco\u201d Montellano (2-0, 1 KO) against Casey Dinard Foster (Pro-debut); Joshua Bryan Reyes (1-0) vs. Juan Tadeo Garcia (Pro-debut) at 126 pounds.<\/span><\/p>\n

In out-of-tournament bouts we will have the debut of Honduran prospect Merin \u201cCatracho de Oro\u201d Salazar, who will clash with Jorge Luis Mungu\u00eda at 160 pounds.<\/span><\/p>\n
