The combination of Chiquita Gonz\u00e1lez Boxing, with the support of PHILLIPS ASSA-ABLOY, with Mexican Americans Fernando \u201cLeoncito\u201d D\u00edaz and Jes\u00fas \u201cChiquito\u201d Haro was proved, due to great performances, during an event that took place behind closed doors at the Training Center Fire Sports in the city of Tlaxcala.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the main fight Fernando \u201cLeoncito\u201d D\u00edaz from Riverside, California, USA, local from Texcoco, State of Mexico, Jos\u00e9 \u00c1ngel Rojas, scheduled for eight rounds in the super flyweight division.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Leoncito” went on the attack, while Rojas on the ropes tried to counter the onslaught of the Mexican American, surprising everyone.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the second, Rojas applied pressure, but Diaz’s right negated that with two crisp uppercuts.\u00a0 In the next round, “Leoncito” and Rojas managed to land hard punches, showing determination and skill.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Fourth round, Fernando let his hands go, with left hooks and effective rights, also punishing Rojas with a hook to the liver, trying with all his might to knock him down. But the Texcoco fighter did not back down and fought back with gusto.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During the sixth round, Diaz did more damage to Rojas with the right, punishing him on several occasions; “Leoncito” made it tough for Edgar,\u00a0 by moving backwards and managing to dodge the blows thrown by the Texcoco fighter.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Fernando \u201cLeoncito\u201d D\u00edaz defeated Jos\u00e9 Rojas, with cards 78-74, 77-75 and 79-73. “Leoncito” now has a record of eight victories and only one loss, Rokas\u00b4new record is 4-4-2.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0\u201cCHIQUITO\u201d GETS THE WIN<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>In the semi final fight, Mexican American Jes\u00fas \u201cChiquito\u201d Haro, from Merced, California, USA and the representative of the state of Oaxaca, Edgar \u201cPuma\u201d Reyes, threw a few haymakers and many other varieties of punches in a veritable strawweight strategy match.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>The first round was the traditional study spell. But Haro was looking to land the power shots on Reyes. During round two, Referee Rafael Salda\u00f1a asked them for more action, as both proved\u00a0 prudent about throwing caution to the wind.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Mexican took the initiative to look for his rival; while Haro managed to dodge the blows and continued studying his rival.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cPuma\u201d was seen to be fiercer and Haro was relying on strategy and waiting to counter attack.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>“Chiquito” who got the victory by UD: 60-54, 59-55 and 58-56. Haro made it 5-1 and Reyes stayed at 5-1.<\/span><\/p>\n
