\u201cIron Mike\u201d was the most imposing, explosive, devastating \u00a0champion of the heavyweight division.<\/p>\n

Despite his height of 1.78 cm atypical for the division, he stood tall over decked opponents. He dubbed himself: \u201cThe Baddest Man On The Man.\u201d \u00a0His highly efficiently honed hitting technique, superb defense, via subtle \u00a0waist movements, enormous strength coupled with lightning devastating and crushing power, \u00a0are a Herculean Legend. A son of Zeus!<\/p>\n

Michael Gerard Tyson, was born on June 30, 1966 in New York. Mike became the youngest fighter ever to win the heavyweight championship of the world, when at the age of 20, he knocked out then champion Trevor Berbick in two awesomely destructive rounds, capturing The WBC Green and Gold Belt. Tyson reigned \u00a0supreme, unifying the division and went on to defend his championship on multiple occasions, discarding challengers as usurpers.<\/p>\n

He regained his WBC championship by knocking out Frank Bruno in the third round. Tyson has been a major force in the sport and has thrilled hundreds of \u00a0millions of fans from every corner \u00a0the worlds seven Continents.<\/p>\n

With the ameliorating passage and mellowing of time, Mike \u00a0has managed to transcend his epithet as the terror of the Title, \u00a0to become a completely fascinating man, well rounded in character, but not waistline, demonstrating a delightfully wry sense humor, reinforced by life lessons, engendering wisdom. A character full of hope, dreams and love for his family, with a sense of benevolence, rather than malevolence, which comes directly from his heart.<\/p>\n

This weekend, Mike Tyson will return to the ring to face Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition fight and even though it is an altruistic match, boxing fans are beyond excited and eager, to have the privilege via \u00a0the rare treat of watching \u00a0a legendary heavyweight once again gracing the ring.
