Austin’s Angel With Gloves Health Care Tribute will be used on WBC Belt<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Exceptional Denver artist Austin Zucchini-Fowler has created an extraordinary mural, as a heartfelt thank you to the amazingly courageous and dedicated work of the health care community, \u00a0who daily risk their lives to save others during the pandemic and now this image will be incorporated on the Green and Gold World Boxing Council Belt, which will be defended by WBC Champion Errol Spence against Danny Garcia.<\/p>\n

The mural is called: \u201cAngel With Gloves\u201d and Austin persuaded his landlord to allow him to use a spray can or two, on the imposing building, in order\u00a0to create this veritable masterpiece. \u00a0Austin explains that the inspiration is very close to home.\u00a0Two of his Brothers are doctors and their Wives are nurses, while his other Brother is training to become a bio engineer.<\/p>\n

Austin who has a Fine Arts Degree from the University of Denver, \u00a0as well as being a Coach for US Club Swimming, decided to let his talent flow, using all of his decade of skills as a Fine Artist and two years as the creator of exquisite murals.<\/p>\n

He set to work and it took him ten hours over two days to complete the work. He said: \u201cThis is close to my heart\u00a0and this mural is\u00a0gratitude to everyone`s efforts during the pandemic. It`s reception has been incredible. It`s something an artist can only dream about.\u201d<\/p>\n

The response has indeed been nothing short of absolutely stunning.\u00a0 The mural has caught the attention of millions, \u00a0and it was featured in the New York Times.\u00a0 World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman saw it and contacted Austin,\u00a0asking him for permission to use the\u00a0\u00a0Visual Image\u00a0on an iconic Green and Gold Belt, to be presented to the winner of the Spence Vs Garcia WBC welterweight bout, scheduled for December. And Austin readily accepted. As a token of appreciation, Mauricio is sending Austin a special WBC Replica Belt.<\/p>\n

Austin said: \u201cI`m grateful for the reaction \u00a0that the mural has had. I appreciate it and it really means a lot. It has been an opportunity for me to continue doing public works.\u201d<\/p>\n

So far Austin has created nine murals for buildings around Denver.\u00a0 He`s working to complete his latest depicting the trilogy of a doctor, nurse and cleaning worker, \u00a0in time for Thanksgiving.\u00a0 It is in the lobby of the Denver Hospital. He stresses: \u201cIt`s my and our opportunity to say Thank You.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
