Chiquita Boxing battles for gender payday equality<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Determined to raise awareness that the wage inequality in professional boxing must end once and for all, the promoter “Chiquita Boxing” will have a historic card on October 30th.<\/p>\n

This event dedicated to women and the improvement of their purses. “Al Ring por Ellas” promises to be a card to remember. Humberto Gonz\u00e1lez Jr., organizer of the event, says it\u2019s the beginning of a transformation in women’s boxing because not only will a competitive salary be offered, but also for for some of the protagonists this is the first time that they have been considered to participate in a card.<\/p>\n

For Chiquita Boxing, it is very important not only to have the big stars, but also to give prospects a Fighting chance. The promoter hopes that more companies replicate this initiative with sponsorship, because only by working together will it be possible to make a difference.<\/p>\n

WBC flyweight champion Ibeth Zamora is taking part, although it should be clarified that it will a non title fight, fought over 8 rounds.<\/p>\n

The card will be behind closed doors and the organizers assured that it will comply with all the health protocols established by the WBC. However, the fans will be able to enjoy this great evening through the TVC Deportes signal and through Facebook Live, Chiquita Gonz\u00e1lez, starting broadcasts at 8:00 p.m.<\/p>\n
