September 2nd, 1995.-\u00a0 On this day in history, Frank Bruno managed to conquer the World Boxing Council heavyweight crown defeating Oliver McCall with a magnificent performance.<\/p>\n

Frank Bruno conquered the WBC heavyweight in his 4 attempt in 1995. He is beloved and admired by thousands of fans for never stop fighting to conquer his dreams, but also for having the strength and heart for maintaining himself as a champion of life.<\/p>\n

In 2003 Frank Bruno was diagnosed as having Bipolar disorder. His well documented illness put Frank in the public eye and he used this media attention to help with the stigma attached to mental health and to help raise the standards of care given to those suffering with mental health issues. Frank supports many charities for mental health both financially and with his time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
