WBC TALKS 94 “Coffee Tuesday” with Mauricio Sulaim\u00e1n<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Miguel Angel Ch\u00e1vez Sol\u00eds presents \u00a0the book Memories\u00a0of \u201cMantequilla\u201d Napoles,\u00a0 \u00a0where he outlines the extraordinary life the boxer who left his native Cuba, to come to Mexico with the hope of\u00a0further pursuing his career as a \u00a0professional boxer, because back home, Fidel Castro had prohibited it.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMantequilla\u201d is considered one of the best welterweights in history and in this book we can learn a little more about this legend of the fabled Cuban who Mexicans adopted as one of their very own.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Julio C\u00e9sar Ch\u00e1vez and Jorge Arce, who will have their third exhibition fight, scheduled for September 25th,\u00a0 heated up the \u201cCoffee Tuesday\u201d with some peppery tooth grinding predictions. Jorge joked telling Julio saying that he is an \u201cold man\u201d\u00a0of \u00a0the ring.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Getting more serious, Julio spoke of the legacy that both have imprinted on the sport. He also stressed just \u00a0how important it is to help in these difficult times of the pandemic and added that he will donate 8 grants for his rehabilitation clinics.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Jorge joined this call for help and added that he will donate rooms for the most needy of Hermosillo, to which Julio joined donating\u00a0 another ten. They\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0asked all boxing\u00a0fans \u00a0not to miss this great exhibition fight as they assured that this will be the last time they will tussle.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>President of the WBC, Mr. Mauricio Sulaim\u00e1n exhorted all those present to join the campaign “I care about you, give a face mask” and\u00a0explained \u00a0that right now we are in the middle of\u00a0the\u00a0most challenging struggle \u00a0of which he is sure that if we don our \u00a0face masks, we will overcome and win.<\/span><\/p>\n

He invited everyone to demonstrate our love and care for others, \u00a0by using and giving Face Masks, because only then we will be able to win this life and death battle.<\/span><\/p>\n
