Its name comes from the German term: heroisch, due to the “supposed” energetic effects attributed to it. Initially introduced for medicinal use in 1898 as a powerful pain reliever that was then prescribed to combat cough, asthma, and even tuberculosis. However, relatively soon after, this substance was found to cause a stronger addiction than morphine, so by 1913 its use was banned and the pharmaceutical industry stopped its production.<\/span><\/p>\n

To talk about the effects of heroin, we must first know that there are different types, depending on their purity, and that is that heroin in its cleanest form is a white, odorless, very fine crystalline powder; However, as we have already mentioned, this aspect may change.<\/span><\/p>\n
