Offering a hand of kindness in China during the pandemic<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The WBC is proud of our dear friend and colleague in China, Mr. Aku Zhang, who over the past couple of days has distributed much needed funds, for essential items, to several boxers who have been affected by the ongoing global health crisis.<\/p>\n

Mr. Zhang donated money in the name of the World Boxing Council family to several Asian Boxing Council champions and Fan Yin, the current WBC Female Silver super-bantamweight champion.<\/p>\n

The ABCO champions who received monetary assistance are Yougu Yu, Xiang Li, Kenbati Haiyilao, Aniwaer Yilixiati, Qu Peng.<\/p>\n

Aku stated, \u201cThe funds would not change the boxer’s life, but we wish to encourage these boxers to keep training and prepare well for the future. You are the most valuable treasures for the boxing world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Many of the boxers took to their social media pages to thank the WBC and its friends, namely Aku, for the kind assistance during these difficult times.<\/p>\n
