{"id":3283,"date":"2018-10-19T21:53:26","date_gmt":"2018-10-19T21:53:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wbcboxing.com\/scholas-llega-al-estado-de-mexico\/"},"modified":"2018-10-25T18:56:40","modified_gmt":"2018-10-25T18:56:40","slug":"scholas-takes-the-state-of-mexico-by-storm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wbcboxing.com\/en\/scholas-takes-the-state-of-mexico-by-storm\/","title":{"rendered":"Scholas takes The State of Mexico by storm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Scholas Occurantes, a program to unite young people created by Pope Francis and implemented with the help of the World Boxing Council in Mexico, has enjoyed a successful and memorable week in the State of Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>At the Casa Del Emprendor\u00a0 Poder Joven in Naucalpan, one hundred young people from five schools, enthused with the energy and hope with which youth are blessed, presented the findings of their week of surveys about discrimination, and how to resolve the issue of lack of opportunities together with a\u00a0vivid\u00a0painting they\u00a0created.<\/p>\n<p>They devised a facebook group entitled: &#8220;It depends upon you,&#8221; to bring about change,\u00a0to create opportunities and concrete actions to tackle\u00a0problems and indifference.\u00a0 The initiative stresses that young people can and will change today`s World for a better future.<\/p>\n<p>World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman, who`s spent and shared \u00a0a good portion of the week with them, advising, encouraging and also applauding their energy and confidence said: &#8220;They have gathered together, combined and worked to resolve these two issues that we encounter every day. We don`t see it, but we live with it.
