Chocolate Rooster rematch flutter?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The mouth watering, steadily ticking prospect of a clockwork orange showdown, as Juan Francisco Estrada and Rom\u00e1n \u201cChocolatito\u201d Gonz\u00e1lez seek a simultaneous unification rematch.<\/p>\n

Estrada (40-3 27 KOs) and Gonz\u00e1lez (49-2 41 KOs) regained their world champion status in impressive fashion in recent fights, with Estrada defeating Srisaket Sor Rungvisai in a rematch to regain WBC’s Super Fly belt and “Chocolatito” going rolling back the years to defeat the previously undefeated Kal Yafai. Both warriors, who fought in November 2012, were invited to an online show on the Matchroom Boxing YouTube channel.<\/p>\n

“I have had three defeats and I have avenged two of them,” said Estrada, “I have not been able to avenge my loss against Gonz\u00e1lez yet because we never fought again, but I think this time, I am going to win, and that loss will also be avenged.”<\/p>\n

“I am the champion. I have a lot of respect for him. It’s a great fight and we both deserve big purse bid. Everything looks and sounds good, but it’s all about the money. We are friends and we both fight for our families. I want to unify if we are given the opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rom\u00e1n recalls: “It’s been eight years since the first fight and I’m very excited to be able to do the rematch. I think people really want to see it too. It would be a great show and a great fight for the small weights.”
\nWe both need to demonstrate to the public that small weight divisions can put on good shows. We are the ones in boxing right now, the small weight classes, and if we fight it would be historic.”<\/p>\n
