World Boxing Council Silver welterweight champion Danny “Swift” Garcia and tough as old boots Ukrainian fighter Ivan “Terrible” Redkach kick started their skills sets, during a public boot camp, in the run up to their fighting feat this Saturday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the event, promoted by TGB Promotions and DSG Promotions, are still on sale and can be purchased at ticketmaster.com and barclayscenter.com.<\/p>\n

This is something that both warriors commented inside the world-famous Gleason ‘s Gym in Brooklyn:<\/p>\n

\n“Everything has been very easy. Training, diet and running. Everything has gone perfectly. We are at weight and ready for a simply great performance on Saturday.<\/p>\n

“As a veteran, you learn during every fight what you have. I have been the weakest and I have won, I have been my best and I have won, and I have been in the greatest magnitude of fights. You have to fight each fight as if it were your last, because it could be. You never know what’s going to happen. You have to be 100% physically and mentally.<\/p>\n

“This is a very important fight for me and my future. My future relies on Saturday night. I’ve already been in a lot of important fights in my career, so it’s nothing new for me. I know Redkach is hungry, but I I know what it takes to win at this level.\u201d<\/p>\n

IVAN REDKACH<\/p>\n

“The biggest weakness I see in Danny is that he is not taking it seriously. He is counting on this as an adjustment fight, and that is one big mistake. It\u2019s certainly not going to be an adjustment fight for him.<\/p>\n

“Like many fighters, I’m usually in the training camp focusing on reducing weight. Fighting welterweight, I don’t have to do that. I feel strong and I’m going to perform well.<\/p>\n

“Danny is already waiting for a fight with Errol Spence Jr. or Manny Pacquiao, but before he reached them, he chose me. I know it’s because I’m left-handed. But he’s going to have a sad wake up call in the fight.”<\/p>\n
