time in over 100 fights<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">December 31, 1952<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Jake LaMotta was knocked down for the only time in his 106-fight career by Danny Nardico.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">LaMotta, who lost his middleweight title to the great Sugar Ray Robinson two years earlier, was floored in the seventh round and failed to come out for the eighth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The \u201cRaging Bull\u201d fought three more times before retiring in 1954 with a record of 83 victories, 30 by knockout, 19 defeats and four draws.<\/p>\n<div
