“Loba” Mu\u00f1oz back on to the victory trail<\/h2>\n

Former WBC super flyweight champion Zulina\u00a0 “La Loba” Mu\u00f1oz closed a packed year, by defeating Fredee Gonz\u00e1lez by UD, in the main event at the Deportivo Leandro Valle in Mexico City.<\/p>\n

“Loba” Mu\u00f1oz secured the victory with \u00a0a convincing 80-72, 79-73 and 80-72 result.\u00a0 Zulina`s record\u00a0now stands at: \u00a051-3-2, 29 knockouts. While Gonzalez left the ring with a \u00a06-16-1 record.<\/p>\n

From the outset Mu\u00f1oz was far superior to Gonz\u00e1lez, who was repeatedly\u00a0jolted with combinations.<\/p>\n

The hitting frequency and accuracy of \u201cLoba\u201d was much higher and more efficient than her opponent, who unsuccessfully tried to press the former champion.\u00a0 Zulina\u00b4s best round was the seventh, in which she moved around the ring,\u00a0and confidently controlled\u00a0the action with sharp\u00a0jabs, following up with snappy well landed combinations.<\/p>\n

So Zulina achieved her third win of the year, in exchange for just one defeat, and will hunt down a world title fight next year.<\/p>\n
