Recently appointed RING TELMEX-TELCEL fighter, Omar “Pollo” Aguilar,\u00a0has burst on to the scene as an exciting \u00a0prospect,\u00a0blessed with \u00a0exceptional \u00a0punching power,\u00a0that`s \u00a0making him a firm fan favorite.<\/p>\n

“Pollo” (15-0-0, 14 ko’s), explosively \u00a0knocked out Venezuelan based in Tijuana, Francisco “Franky” Cuadrado (12-1-0, 9 ko’s), to become World Boxing Council Super lightweight \u00a0Youth champion.<\/p>\n

His Dad and coach, Omar Aguilar, says \u00a0Saturday\u2019s victory over \u201cFranky\u201d Cuadrado shows that his lad \u00a0is ready for great things in boxing.<\/p>\n

The youth title is designed for young professional fighters taking their first steps in the pro ranks. \u00a0The maximum age to dispute the title is 23 years 11 months.<\/p>\n

A clear example of how valuable, nurturing \u00a0and important this championship is, can be seen in the number of champions who have conquered this crown before passing through to absolute world title. Among them are:
