“Barby” Juarez The Empress of Defense!<\/strong><\/h2>\n

World Boxing Council Female Bantamweight champion, Mariana “Barby” Juarez, fights Argentina’s Carolina “Turca” Duer\u00a0on \u00a0October 12 in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, \u00a0making the ninth defense of her Green and Gold Belt.<\/p>\n

Consistent, brilliant and iron cast determined, \u00a0Mariana has notched a 21 successful defenses as WBC world champion, counting all her titles.<\/p>\n

The first of them as WBC Interim World Champion, where she made 6 successful defenses (Carolina \u00c1lvarez, Susana V\u00e1zquez, Anah\u00ed Torres, Abigail Villar, Diana Gonz\u00e1lez and Maribel Ram\u00edrez).<\/p>\n

Her \u00a0second reign was as World WBC Flyweight Champion where she achieved 7 successful defenses (Gabriela Bouvier twice, Asami Shikasho, Diana Gonzalez, Anastasia Toktaulova, Arely Muci\u00f1o and Shindo Go).<\/p>\n

As bantamweight champion she adds 8 defenses (Terumi Nuki twice, Alesia Graf, Gabriela Bouvier, Carolina Arias, Susie Ramadan, Eva Naranjo and Diana Fern\u00e1ndez).<\/p>\n

At the moment, “Barby” has 10 consecutive victories, highlighting that 9 of these victories have been for the world title, \u00a0and\u00a0one \u00a0more for the WBC International bantam title.<\/p>\n

Juarez and Duer will be\u00a0 starring in the main event presented by Promociones del Pueblo and will take place at the Convention Center of Fresnillo, Zacatecas, on October 12, thanks to the invaluable support and facilities provided by the Municipal Government headed by Sa\u00fal Monreal \u00c1vila.<\/p>\n
