\u00a0Haney seeks Green and Gold honey!<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Following his \u00a0buckling victory, \u00a0overwhelming \u00a0Zaur Abdullaev (11-1, 7 KOs) at the Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden, and with it the \u00a0Interim WBC lightweight Belt, ambitious Devin Haney is Absolutely aiming for one \u00a0notch higher.<\/p>\n

Haney’s \u00a0(23-0, 15KOs) now determined to fight \u00a0Absolute Champion Vasiliy Lomachenko (14-1, 10 knockouts).<\/p>\n

“I would love to convince Lomachenko to fight with Haney. I honestly think it will be a difficult fight because of television channels, but we will do our best to carry the day.” Promoter Eddie Hearn told \u00a0BoxingScene.<\/p>\n

Lomachenko won the vacant WBC belt with a 12-round victory over Englishman Luke Campbell (20-3, 16 knockouts) in an entertaining fight between 2012 Olympic gold medalists.<\/p>\n

At its upcoming Convention next month, the World Boxing Council will define the situation of Lomachenko and Haney.<\/p>\n
