Haney VS Abdullaev seeking the Absolute Big Time<\/strong><\/h2>\n

WBC International champion, American Devin Haney, will face WBC Silver champion, Russian Zaur Abdullaev, in a final elimination, for the right to dispute the lightweight title of the World Boxing Council.<\/p>\n

This event will be \u00a0Friday, September 13 at the Hulu Theater\u00a0of \u00a0Madison Square Garden in New York, with live broadcast on DAZN and Sky Sports.<\/p>\n

Haney (22-0 14 KOs) made an electrifying debut with Matchroom Boxing USA and DAZN in May, defeating Mexican Antonio Moran with a\u00a0stunning \u00a0knockout in the seventh round.<\/p>\n

Haney, a Las Vegas resident and ranked 2 on the WBC lists, will fight for the first time in New York.<\/p>\n

For his part, Abdullaev (11-0 7 KOs), number 4 in the WBC rankings, won the Silver crown in his ninth professional fight in April 2018. This will be his first fight outside his homeland.<\/p>\n

The winner of this attractive match must then face the winner of the thriller\u00a0 between Vasiliy Lomachenko and Luke Campbell.<\/p>\n
