Former WBC super middleweight world champion, David “Red Flag”Benavidez, paused in his preparations to visit \u201cThe Rock Boxing Gym\u201d in Carson, California…a\u00a0place dedicated to keep children and young people off the streets through sports.<\/p>\n

David gave the youngsters advice regarding their training and encouraged them to pursue their dreams. He also presented them with some presents, signed autographs and took pictures with the young boxers.<\/p>\n

On September 28 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the undefeated “Red Flag” (21-0, 18 KOs) will challenge super middle champion, Anthony Dirrell, who conquered the vacant title by defeating Turkish Avni Yildirim.<\/p>\n
