{"id":19021,"date":"2019-08-07T15:49:48","date_gmt":"2019-08-07T15:49:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wbcboxing.com\/el-nieto-del-gran-mantequilla-napoles-gana-su-primer-cinturon-wbc\/"},"modified":"2019-08-07T15:51:50","modified_gmt":"2019-08-07T15:51:50","slug":"grandson-napoles-wins-his-first-wbc-belt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wbcboxing.com\/en\/grandson-napoles-wins-his-first-wbc-belt\/","title":{"rendered":"Grandson Napoles wins his first WBC Belt"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Grandson Napoles wins his first WBC Belt<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">Angel Napoles, who`s the grandson of ring legend Jose &#8220;Mantequilla&#8221; Napoles, has been presented with the WBC Youth Intercontinental Lightweight Belt, which he won by TKO in the third round.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">On June 20th, the handsome 21 year old, stopped Jorge Alberto Romero Ayala, in a contest for this then vacant belt, at the Escena Show Center in Monterrey.\u00a0 Young\u00a0Angel`s \u00a0record is now 6-0-2, with four KO`s.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">He said: &#8220;My Grandpa has inspired me with the many wins of his tremendous career, and he`s very happy I have won my first WBC belt.\u00a0 My ambition is to be the unified lightweight champion.
